Have an authentic Japanese ‘Omakase’ experience at this Detroit restaurant

Imagine a place where you’re served a 12 course meal that’s prepared right before your eyes. Well at a restaurant in downtown Detroit they are offering this Omakase experience, and Live in the D’s April Morton stopped by Hiroki-San to check it out. “We offer a 12 course experience, as well as our traditional Japanese menu, said Christian Vasquez, Chef De Cuisine at Hiroki-San. He also spoke about the décor of the restaurant, ”it’s traditional Japanese minimalist style." They incorporate Japanese style with traditional Detroit, keeping some of the original exposed brick and stone in the restaurant, which is located on the lower level of the Book Tower building.
