Comedian Mike Young is on a mission to redefine road trip entertainment with his groundbreaking project, “Destination Comedy.”
The unique comedy special, which features Young and fellow comedian Brett Ernst, blends stand-up comedy with live-streamed road trip antics. Young appeared on “Live In The D” to describe the upcoming adventure. “We’re just doing a proof of concept. We’re just taking a shot at this because so many funny things were happening backstage and, on the road, when we were on the rock comedy tour that we just thought, people should see this too.”
The special is set to go live from July 29th through August 2nd. Young and Ernst will be live streaming a five-day road trip across northern Michigan, stopping at roadside attractions and local landmarks.
As they traverse the state, the duo offers a real-time buddy comedy experience, promising audiences nonstop laughs and unexpected detours - perhaps even for meatballs.
