The beloved Dearborn Homecoming Festival is making a grand return to Ford Field Park from August 1-3, promising an exciting lineup of live music, family activities, and mouthwatering cuisine. Dearborn Mayor Abdullah Hammoud appeared on “Live In The D” to discuss the festival’s unique offerings.
“This is a family-friendly occasion,” said Mayor Hammoud. “It’s a time where Dearborn families who may have moved out all come back and reunite with old neighbors, friends, or their old classmates at the high school pavilions.”
Music lovers can look forward to standout performances with Saturday night featuring the country duo, The War and Treaty, and Sunday night headlined by rock band Third Eye Blind. The festival is also renowned for its stunning fireworks displays. “After the main performances on Saturday and Sunday night, the fireworks will fire off,” Hammoud said, inviting all to enjoy the vibrant festivities.
With a cultural pavilion showcasing ethnic cuisine and music, alongside a food truck corridor featuring local favorites, the festival promises something for everyone. Admission is free, ensuring a welcoming atmosphere for all visitors.
