See this legendary Detroit Jazz artist live this weekend

For Live in the D’s “Music Monday,” the show brought some Jazzy vibes. Legendary Detroit Jazz artist Kimmie Horne stopped by to chat about her upcoming Kimmie Horne Jazz Fest, that’s celebrating 10 years. “I wanted to have a place where I could share a space with my musical peers, that’s where it started,” said Horne. She said the fest will bring music, love, and vibes the whole weekend. In addition to great Jazz artists, there will be something for the entire family. “We have food trucks, all kinds of vendors...on Saturday morning we have fitness fun,” Horne said.

Horne debuted her new song, “Singing Away.”

The Kimmie Horne Jazz Festival is happening August 8th and 9th at the Southfield Pavilion in Southfield.
