“The Chicken Sisters” Returns with a Dash of Drama

New season promises spicy family feuds and second chances

The much-anticipated new season of “The Chicken Sisters” is set to premiere on August 10th on Hallmark, bringing more heart, humor, and Southern charm to screens. This season, the story dives deeper into the lives of two feuding fried chicken dynasties as they navigate love, rivalry, and redemption.

Schuyler Fisk, who plays Amanda, shared her excitement during an interview on “Live In The D,” saying, “We get to explore a new venture with the four of us united as a little crew.” Meanwhile, Genevieve Angelson, who plays Mae, hinted at the season’s comedic and heartfelt layers: “It’s hilarious, and it’s also like daddy issues and boy issues and chicken issues.”

Lea Thompson, who not only stars as Nancy but also directed the first two episodes, expressed her newfound appreciation for her character’s journey: “She’s learning how to step out of her shell and become her own person.” Wendie Malick’s character, Augusta, faces an intriguing twist this season with the return of a mysterious figure from her past. “There’s some chemistry there that she revisits,” Malick promised.

As the new season of “The Chicken Sisters” unfolds, viewers can expect a delicious blend of drama, laughter, and heartfelt moments.
