In an appearance on “Live In The D,” Tom Jacobs, founder and CEO of Jacobs Financial Services, emphasized the importance of staying vigilant about retirement planning, even in the midst of summer relaxation.
“Money never sleeps. Now is a very important time to be paying attention,” Jacobs said. He cautioned against what he calls “crisis planning,” where individuals scramble to organize their finances at the last minute. “Let’s not do that. Let’s be vigilant on what we’re thinking about all throughout the year, including the summer,” he advised.
Jacobs encourages everyone to take a proactive approach, suggesting a quick check-in with their retirement plans to identify any potential blind spots. You can do that by taking their Retirement Readiness Quiz at jacobsfs.com.
