Thrifty Moms Rejoice: Save Big at ‘Just Between Friends’ Sale

Score Deals and Support Local Charities at Greater Oakland County Event

To stretch those back-to-school budgets, parents can find everything they need at the upcoming “Just Between Friends” (JBF) pop-up resale event happening in Oakland County. Event coordinator Lyndsey Crosbie appeared on “Live In The D” to share insights.

“Just Between Friends is a community-based business that has a mission of helping families say yes,” Crosbie explained. “We say yes to affordability, to sustainability, and to a community shopping experience through resale.”

With discounts ranging from 50 to 90% off retail prices, this mom-to-mom style sale features items for children from newborn to age 18, including strollers, toys, clothing, and more. Crosbie emphasized the event’s dual mission: “We support the Oakland County Foster Closet, and our end-of-sale charity partner is the Oakland Hope Thrift Store and Hope Food Pantry,” she said. This initiative not only provides families with affordable shopping options but also supports local charities in the community.

The sale runs from August 14th through the 17th at the Oakland Expo Center in Waterford. For more information or to reserve tickets, visit oaklandcounty.jbfsale.com.
