What’s your biggest pet peeve?

Friends of “Live In The D” share the little things that bug them

Sometimes little things have a way of driving you crazy in a big way. These “pet peeves” were the topic of discussion during the What’s The Buzz segment on “Live In The D” on Monday.

Live In The D host Tati Amare and guest host comedian T.Barb were joined by comedian Mike Bonner and Mary Liz Curtin, who is the owner of Leon & Lulu and Three Cats in Clawson.

The group talked about what really gets under their skin. Mary Liz was first to share her pet peeve.

“I really do not appreciate younger men looking at me and saying, ‘Here you go, young lady.’ My response is, I am not a young lady, little boy,’” Mary Liz said.

Meanwhile, Mike said he can’t stand a fibber.

Another one of the pet peeves they discussed is people who have private conversations with the other person on speaker while in a public setting.

“I don’t want to hear your detailed argument with your wife in the gym. I really don’t want to hear it. I have my own problems,” Mike said.

T.Barb stressed the need to keep it private.

Mary Liz said she should have a zapper to turn the phones off from across the room when it’s happening.

Mary Liz also shared another pet peeve, which she says is when people don’t hold the door for the people behind them.

“That’s beyond rude,” Tati said.

If people interrupting you during a conversation or someone chewing loudly grinds your gears, you’re not alone. Watch the video above to see what the group had to say about these pet peeves and others.
