The Brighton Street Art Fair is set to transform downtown Brighton from August 22nd to 24th, bringing together a diverse mix of art, music, and family-friendly fun. The event promises to be a feast for the senses, featuring approximately 100 artists showcasing a wide array of art forms.
Appearing on “Live In The D,” Allison Neal, Senior Director of Marketing and Partnerships for The Guild of Artists, emphasized the fair’s wide-ranging appeal. “We have about 100 artists, live music, kids’ activities - lots of fun,” she said, highlighting the event as a perfect opportunity to connect with artists and their creations.
Among the featured artists is Tina Hotchkiss, who is known for her unique watercolor technique. Hotchkiss, also speaking on “Live In The D,” shared insights into her artistic journey. “I started experimenting with watercolor about 20 years ago, and today, I love exhibiting my work and teaching my style to students,” she said, underscoring her passion for transparency and texture in her pieces.
The fair will not only feature art but will also integrate the local community with restaurants extending their patios into the street and the Brighton Art Guild offering hands-on art activities. The town’s social district allows visitors to enjoy a drink while exploring the fair, making the experience even more enjoyable.
