It will be an action-packed weekend in Detroit and across the area as Detroiters celebrate the last bit of summer and start to embrace the fall vibes.

- The BLKOUT Walls Mural Festival:
The BLKOUT Walls Mural Festival has returned to Detroit to celebrate art, culture, and community. The festival features 10 new large-scale murals across downtown and installations at Pensole Lewis College. The BLKOUT Walls Block Party will be held Saturday, Sept. 13, from 1 p.m. until 5 p.m. at Spirit Plaza. The free event will include local vendors and food trucks, along with live music.
- Fall Festival at DeBuck’s Family Farm:
Get ready to experience fall vibes when DeBuck’s Family Farm kicks off its annual Fall Festival on Saturday, Sept. 13. Visitors can experience a 15-acre corn maze and more than 20 acres of pumpkins. There are also giant slides and more family-fun activities. You can’t forget about the sweet treats like cider, donuts, and pumpkin spice sundaes. The Fall Festival at DeBuck’s in Belleville runs through Halloween.
- Haunted Weekends at Blake’s Big Apple:
The spooky season also takes effect Saturday at Blake’s Big Apple in Armada. Attractions include zombie paintball, haunted hayrides, a three-story haunted barn, and more. Haunted Weekends at Blake’s Big Apple will run through Nov. 1. Advanced tickets are required.
- Country Roots Beach Party:
If you’re still trying to hang onto summer, you can head to the Country Roots Beach Party at Campus Martius Park. You can test out your rodeo skills on a mechanical bull, listen to music from DJ Cowboy, sample tequila, and enjoy giveaways. The beach party at Campus Martius Park will run Saturday, Sept. 13, from 6 p.m. until 10 p.m.
- Last chance to check out Detroit Lions: Gridiron Heroes exhibit:
You can celebrate football history in the Motor City at the Detroit Historical Museum. It’s your last chance to check out the Detroit Lions: Gridiron Heroes exhibit at the museum. There will be free admission from 5 p.m. until 9 p.m. on Sept. 11. You can also enjoy free admission and special giveaways Sept. 12 through Sept. 14.
