‘America’s Got Talent’ crowns winner of season 20

Singer Jessica Sanchez won the talent competition

The winner of season 20 of “America’s Got Talent” was revealed Wednesday night, and 30-year-old Jessica Sanchez, who is nine months pregnant, earned the title of champion and the $1 million dollar prize.

This wasn’t the singer’s first time on “AGT.” Sanchez appeared on season one of the show when she was just 10 years old. She came back to win it all, this time around.

“It was like instantly a flood of emotions and of just the memories of picturing myself as 10-year-old Jessica on season one, just wanting this so, so bad and fighting for this dream. 20 years later, I was able to achieve it, so I’m super proud of myself and just so grateful,” Sanchez said while talking with “Live In The D” host Tati Amare and guest host Greg Russell.

“This has just been such a special journey for me. It’s been very difficult, probably one of the hardest things I’ve ever had to do vocally and also physically, but it’s been so worth it. And every moment I hit the stage was even more special having her there with me,” Sanchez said while referencing her soon-to-be baby girl.
