Leonardo DiCaprio, Sean Penn star in new action thriller

“One Battle After Another” is playing in theaters

Actor Leonardo DiCaprio is back on-screen in movie theaters.

DiCaprio stars in “One Battle After Another,” along with actor Sean Penn. The R-rated movie has a run time of 2 hours and 50 minutes.

Another new movie option is “Bau, Artist at War.” It shares the true story of Joseph Bau, a concentration camp survivor during the Holocaust.

Emile Hirsch plays the role of Bau, who was an artist and got married in the Plaszow concentration camp.

Movie review Greg Russell spoke with Hirsch about the movie, along with the director, Sean McNamara who shared the research that went into making the film.

“We went to Poland. We took pictures of Plaszow concentration camp...Our writers did their research and made sure we got it accurate. We brought it to Jewish experts to make sure that we got all of this stuff right, and then we did that with the script, and we did it with the cut, and so I think we got it pretty accurate to the time,” McNamara said.

During Friday’s Reel Talk segment, Greg also talked about a documentary called “aka Charlie Sheen,” which shares the rise and fall of the actor’s career.

Greg gave “aka Charlie Sheen” four reels out a possible five reels.
