This new brunch house in downtown Milford was once a bank

If you’re familiar with downtown Milford, you may recall a bank in the middle of North Main street. Well, that bank has been turned into a brunch house called “Five Loaves.”

The owner knew as soon as she saw the space, it would be perfect for her plan. “I saw the brick wall, I said can I go over there...so I came over to see the brick wall and I saw the vault, and that was it, my heart sunk,” said owner Katrina Dedvukaj. She said she discovered the building while visiting a friend’s store next door in the charming downtown Milford area.

The brunch house serves farm-to-table dishes, with many gluten-free and other dietary-conscious options.
