NBC’s “One Chicago Wednesdays” are about to return with brand-new seasons of “Chicago Med,” “Chicago Fire,” and “Chicago P.D.”
The hit dramas kick off Wednesday, October 1st, promising more high-stakes rescues, medical miracles, and edge-of-your-seat police action.
Ahead of the season premieres, “Live In The D” host Tati Amare talked with some of stars bringing the drama to life, including Jessy Schram who plays Dr. Hannah Asher on “Chicago Med,” Hanako Greensmith who portrays paramedic Violet Mikami on “Chicago Fire,” and LaRoyce Hawkins who plays officer Kevin Atwater on “Chicago P.D.”
This season will mark a milestone 200th episode for “Chicago Med.”
“This season is big. It’s a roller coaster as it always is, but somehow we just keep topping it,” Schram said. “For our 200th episode, we do have an OG cast member coming back, so fans that have started with us will be very, very happy. It feels like home to them while also still having so much new.”
Fans of “Chicago Fire” can expect to see a new firefighter joining Firehouse 51 this season. Mikami explained that they try to show how the firehouse is a family.
“When you bring someone new into the family, obviously, there has to be tests and moments of analysis towards that person. So you’ll definitely be seeing some of that and get to see, I think, a lot of the innate heroism in this character as well,” she said.
There will also be new twists and turns on this season of “Chicago P.D.” Hawkins explained that this season will focus on how deep the characters can dig, who they are, and how they’re built.
“One Chicago Wednesdays” returns to NBC on October 1st starting at 8 p.m.
