U of M, MSU rivalry heats up for a good cause

Ronald McDonald House Charities teams up with former football players and Buddy’s Pizza

The University of Michigan versus Michigan State University football game isn’t until October 25th, but the excitement is already heating up in a special way.

Buddy’s Pizza is launching team-themed pizzas. The restaurant is also teaming up with Ronald McDonald House Charities in Ann Arbor and East Lansing for Battle for the Houses, which is a friendly-competition for a great cause.

Throughout October, Buddy’s Pizza is holding a “Dine to Donate” program where diners can choose between limited edition U of M and MSU-inspired pizzas. The MSU-themed pizza features green and white toppings such as spinach, garlic, white onions, and ricotta. Meanwhile, the U of M-themed pizza is topped with pineapple rings and more.

One dollar from the sale of each of the themed pizzas will go the respective Ronald McDonald House Charities location, and Buddy’s Pizza will also match donations.
