When it comes to getting a good night’s sleep, your bedroom plays a big role - and it’s more than just a comfy mattress.
Tanya Christian joined “Live in the D” with insight into creating a healthy and relaxing sleep space that looks as good as it feels.
From soft sheets and supportive pillows to air purifiers and humidifiers, Tanya emphasized the importance of making your room comfortable for you.
She suggested having breathable bedding if you are someone who gets hot easily and to double check your pillows to confirm they are not too flimsy.
Tanya also suggested keeping your humidity under control. Your sleep sanctuary should consist of 30-50% humidity, so using a humidifier or dehumidifier to balance out the room will help you stay at those levels. She adds that air-purifiers are beneficial to clear the allergens in the room and ensure you are breathing healthy air.
