What if you could live every moment in your life - twice? It’s the intriguing question at the heart of Mitch Albom’s brand-new novel, titled “Twice.”
The story is about love, temptation, and the cost of second chances.
“Everybody talks about the grass always being greener, so I wanted to explore a story to see if it really is,” Albom said while appearing on “Live In The D”.
“I came up with a plot where there’s a guy who basically discovers when he’s a kid, he has the magical ability to do anything in his life over again, but only one time and he has to live with the consequences of the second try...He goes through his life fixing his mistakes, his adolescent embarrassment, and then when he becomes a man, he discovers there’s one caveat to the power -- It doesn’t work with love,” Albom explained.
Readers will have a chance to meet the best-selling author at upcoming book signing events. Albom will be at Books-A-Million in Beverly Hills on Friday, Oct. 17th at 6:30 p.m. Another book signing event will be held Saturday, Oct. 18th at 10 a.m. at the Barnes & Noble on Washtenaw Ave. in Ann Arbor.
“Twice” is also being adapted into a Netflix film.
