Remembering a Style Icon: Diane Keaton

Beyond her memorable film career, the star had a memorable closet

Diane Keaton became a beloved Hollywood star during her film career that spanned five decades and included starring in fan favorites such as all three of “The Godfather” movies, “Looking for Mr. Goodbar,” “Baby Boom,” “Father of the Bride,” and “The First Wives Club.”

Local 4 Lifestyle Editor Jon Jordan joined hosts Tati Amare and Kim DeGiulio to chat about another aspect of her fame - her fashion.

Jon said that Keaton’s style was uniquely her own and based on a simple formula. He explained that the actress wore the same look throughout her life and continued to re-invent basic elements that spoke to her.

The star’s sense of style had a quirkiness to it as she found ways to mix traditional menswear with frilly and dainty accents and details. She presented herself to be whimsical and approachable, Jon said.
