Make your home shine bright with lanterns

If you are looking for a new way to decorate your home, Local 4 Lifestyle editor Jon Jordan has you covered. The best part? You don’t have to break the bank to stay trendy.

Jon appeared on “Live in the D” to share how you can recreate the trending “rustic” look on lanterns at home.

Jon brought in three lanterns he found at Dollar Tree, each costing $5 or less. By taking paint and dabbing it on the lanterns with a paper towel, he was able to create a rustic look similar to the one found online, which sells for a hundred dollars. Hosts Tati Amare and Kim DeGiulio joined in on the process, decorating lanterns of their own.
