Music Monday: Mike Leslie Spotlights Debut Solo Album

Mike Leslie brought a dose of rock, blues and alternative to Live in the D’s Music Monday, previewing new music and promoting an upcoming hometown show.

“I got a brand new full length album. It’s called Goodbye Forever, said Leslie. “It’s actually my debut solo album.”

The Detroit vocalist, guitarist and songwriter performed his new single, “Dance in the Shadows,” describing it as “a mystical love story about temptation and darkness and all that spooky stuff.”

Leslie will celebrate the release with a performance at Planet Ant Theater in Hamtramck on Saturday, Nov. 8, at 7 p.m.
