The Novi Bridal Expo returns Jan. 3–4 with hundreds of vendors, runway inspiration and planning tools under one roof at the Suburban Collection Showplace.
“If you’re a 2026 or 2027 bride, you do not want to miss it,” said Abby Fabbri, a stylist with the Wedding Shoppe in Berkley, during a preview on Live in the D. “It’s one of the biggest bridal expos where you can shop the best vendors in Michigan—photographers, hair and makeup, caterers—and even sample along the way.”
Fabbri says brides are gravitating toward gowns with “transformational” elements that create multiple looks without a full wardrobe change. “Detachable off-the-shoulder straps and overskirts let you switch it up for the reception so you can dance and still keep that wow factor,” she said.
Her strategy for navigating the show: make one lap to scan, then circle back to favorites, enter raffles and gather details. “Walk around first, see everything, and then go again to the vendors that really catch your eye,” Fabbri said.
