Events lineup revs up for the weekend

Check out these events from Detroit to downriver

It’s gearing up to be an action-packed weekend in and around Detroit.

The Detroit Auto Show opens to the public on Saturday, Jan. 17th and will run through Jan. 25th at Huntington Place in Detroit.

If you’re looking to embrace the winter weather, you might want to head to the Trenton Winterfest. The free, family-friendly event will feature ice sculptures, food trucks, vendors, and fun activities throughout downtown. The fest is happening Saturday, Jan. 17th.

Blake’s Bavarian Winterfest will bring a taste of Germany to Armada. The event features German brews, Bavarian fare like schnitzel and bratwurst, DIY workshops, polka music, and more. You can experience Blake’s Bavarian Winterfest both Saturday, Jan. 17th and Sunday, Jan. 18th at Blake’s Orchard & Cider Mill in Armada.

The Novi Home Show will feature home improvement and services experts who can help with decorating and landscaping ideas. Hundreds of exhibitors will be on hand at the show, which runs from Friday, Jan. 16th through Sunday, Jan. 18th at the Vibe Credit Union Showplace in Novi.
