Josh Groban and Jennifer Hudson set to bring tour to Detroit

Singers will be performing at Little Caesars Arena

He has a powerful voice you might have heard singing “You Raise Me Up” or some of your favorite holiday songs, and now five-time Grammy nominee Josh Groban is gearing up for a tour with another legendary voice -- Emmy, Grammy, Oscar, and Tony award winner Jennifer Hudson.

Groban and Hudson will take the stage at Little Caesars Arena in Detroit on June 25th as a part of the Gems World Tour.

Groban spoke with the hosts of “Live In The D” about the upcoming tour, which is his first major global tour in a decade. The 44-year-old singer explained that he and Hudson will each have their own sets, but will also have duets in the show.

“We want to bring some joy out there. We want to go out there and really shine some light,” Groban said.

In addition to bringing music to the stage, the tour will also be supporting arts education. Groban explained that one dollar from every ticket sale is going to his Find Your Light Foundation, which supports arts programs.
