The 60th Detroit RV and Camping Show opens Wednesday at the Vibe Credit Union Showplace in Novi, bringing hundreds of recreational vehicles, travel trailers and camping accessories under one roof, according to organizers at MARVAC, the Michigan Association of Recreation Vehicles and Campgrounds.
“We’re going to have over 350 RVs here on display this week - everything from folding pop-up campers to travel trailers, fifth wheels, toy haulers and motorhomes,” said Brian Martoia of Woodland Airstream. “All for your viewing pleasure.”
The show runs Wednesday through Sunday. To mark the anniversary, opening-day admission is $6 for seniors 60 and older, Martoia said.
Attendees can preview new models, including Airstream’s 2026 Globetrotter, which features a powered awning, curved cabinetry, a split bath and a galley with solid-surface countertops and residential-style fixtures.
Among other head-turners for first-time buyers is a Salem 2026 FSX174DBLE travel trailer showcased by Fun Town RV. “It’s simple, affordable and has all the features that you’re looking for as far as size and towability,” said Alyssa Deschepper of Fun Town RV, noting that most SUVs and half-ton trucks can pull the unit.
The family-focused trailer features double-over-double bunks with additional storage, a full bathroom with a combo shower and tub, a two-burner stove and refrigerator, a dinette and a full-queen bed with under-bed storage.
