The chili cook-off will be held on Thursday, Jan. 29th. The chisels and chainsaws will rev up for the ice carving show on Saturday, Jan. 31st and Sunday, Feb. 1st. These ice sculptures will be on display throughout downtown Mt. Clemens, providing plenty of winter fun.

Going into another icy event, the Plymouth Fire and Ice Festival returns with plenty more thrills this year. Some activities include a petting zoo, ice carvings, live entertainment, and even a 300-foot zipline to enjoy the sights. The fest will run from Friday, Jan. 30th to Sunday, Feb. 1st in downtown Plymouth.

Monday is Groundhog Day, and the Ann Arbor District Library is celebrating.
