La Marsa Cuisine is ready to feed Metro Detroit’s watch parties with a spread of Mediterranean favorites - and a special savings code for fans.
“It started as the idea of three friends - more like brothers - back in 2007,” said Mehdi Jarri of La Marsa Cuisine. “Today they have 17 restaurants, with two of them in Florida.” Jarri credits the brand’s growth to “commitment, hard work and, of course, the ingredients and recipes that make this food incredible.”
La Marsa’s catering lineup leans into bright flavors and hearty classics: rice pilaf studded with almonds, chargrilled chicken kebabs, fattoush salad, signature hummus with fresh pita and a vegetarian Egyptian Koshary — a pasta-and-lentil dish crowned with caramelized onions and a tangy red sauce.
“What’s special is the taste - the spices, the quality of the produce and vegetables, and also the meats,” Jarri said during an appearance on Live in the D. “We cater everything you see here, plus anything else on our menu.”
For big gatherings, La Marsa includes fresh pita and garlic sauce complimentary with catering orders, Jarri said. Popular combinations include fattoush, rice pilaf with almonds, chicken kebabs and hummus.
