DETROIT, Mich. – Openings for Shift Manager positions will be on the list for ALDI's upcoming hiring event for new Detroit-area stores.
ALDI is known for offering wages and benefits that are higher than the national average for the retail industry. Benefits also include full health insurance, dental coverage, and 401k for staff working at least 25 hours a week.

Currently, shift manager positions offer $11.50 an hour plus additional $4.75 hour premium when performing manager duties.
Job requirements for interested applicants include:
- 18 years or older
- High School diploma or GED
- Must be available to work anytime between 6 a.m. and 11 p.m., Monday-Sunday
- Retail experience preferred
- Drug screening and background check
- Ability to lift 45 pounds
The hiring event will take place Thursday, May 19 from 7 a.m- 6 p.m.
