Prayer Vigil Held For Missing Brownstown Twp. Woman

DETROIT – Nearly a month has passed since the wife of a Brownstown Township man went missing after her home burned down.

Lizzie Collier-Sweet's husband, Roger, is a person of interest, but he has not been charged with her disappearance.

Monday, a vigil was held for the missing woman at Hartford Church on Detroit's west side. Family and friends gathered for the prayer service.

Collier-Sweet's niece, Misty Jones, said the family has hope her aunt is still alive.

"Every day we get up with hope for the best that she will come back," Jones said.
