'Imported From Detroit' Fans Gobble Up Shirts

T-Shirts Selling For $29.95

DETROIT – Fans of Chrysler's new marketing campaign slogan -- "Imported From Detroit" -- swarmed the automaker's online store this week, buying out its corresponding T-shirt collection.

The automaker's two-minute "Born of Fire" Super Bowl commercial featured Eminem and sparked national conversation.

The commercial showcased Detroit with landmarks such as Joe Louis' fist and the Fox Theatre. It ended with the marketing slogan: "Imported From Detroit."

The Chrysler Collection T-shirts flashed the slogan in black, white and gray.

The shirts were being sold for $29.95.

The automaker said new designs are in the works but has not said when sales would resume.
