DETROIT – Michigan-born musician Kid Rock is performing at Detroit's Comerica Park on Friday and Saturday.
Anyone who doesn't have a ticket to the Kid Rock concerts can still jam in the city at a block party he's hosting downtown.

Kid Rock is hosting the Kid Rock Bad Ass Beer Block Party before both of his concerts on Friday and Saturday outside Comerica Park at Woodward Avenue and Montcalm Street.
The parties will include carnival-style entertainment, guest DJs, food and a beer tent.
Proceeds from the block parties will go to the Kid Rock Foundation.
Detroit police are advising fans to get downtown early to avoid traffic congestion.
Advised routes to Comerica Park are:
WEST: I-94 east/ I-96 east to north I-75 exit at Gr. River # 50, if there is a back up exit at Gratiot turn right head into downtown.
EAST: I-94 west to the Lodge Fwy; Lodge south to Gr. River exit (Near Casino) provides access to lots west of the stadium.
NORTH: I-75 SB to Mack Ave. to Woodward/or to access lots south of the stadium exit I-375 at Lafayette.
SOUTH: I-75 NB to exit #50 Gr. River/ or if backed up exit at Gratiot turn right head into downtown.
