'Sexting,' 'Retweet' Added To Oxford Dictionary

DETROIT – It's official. The word "sexting" is now in the dictionary.

"Retweet," "Cyberbullying," "textspeak," and "domestic goddess," are also in there, too.

In celebrating its centenary anniversary, the 12th Edition of the Concise Oxford English Dictionary has added 400 new words, bringing its total entries to 240,000.

"These additions are just carrying on the tradition of a dictionary that has always sought to be progressive and up to date," Oxford Dictionaries said on its website.
