Wayne State Warriors Football Preview

DETROIT – The Wayne State Warriors open the 2011 football season against Urbana University at Adams Field in Detroit.

The Warriors are coming off an impressive 9-2 season (8-2 in conference), with a key win over high-ranked Hillsdale College.

The team finished the 2010 season scoring more than 40 points in each of their last three games.

Wayne State finished second in the Great Lakes Intercollegiate Athletic Conference behind Grand Valley State.

The 2011 schedule contains a game at Hillsdale and at Ashland University.

• Oct. 29 HOME against Saginaw Valley State University

• Nov. 12 HOME against University of Findlay
