DETROIT, Mich. – Matthew Sanford was paralyzed from the chest down after a devastating car accident.
He decided that it was time to realize the importance of waking both his mind and his body and teaching others to do the same.

Sanford teaches yoga to traditional students and then adapts it for people leaving with disabilities.
When it comes to yoga, Sanford says, "It's going to make you more balanced, make your movements more graceful, that's why I am here."
He pushes past the physical boundaries by teaching people to use their minds as strength.
