Police: Man Shot At While Pursuing Home Invaders

Adrian Police Say Armed Intruders Broke Into Couple's Home While They Were Making Dinner

ADRIAN, Mich. – Adrian police said a homeowner was shot at while pursing a group of armed men who had just broken into his home on Tuesday.

Police said a couple was cooking in their home on East Michigan Street when two to three men armed with a long gun and a knife surprised them.

Police said the intruders stole money from the husband before taking off.

The husband got in his car and followed the intruders until he was shot at by them near the intersection of Main and Maple streets, police said.

No one was hurt during the incident, police said.

Police said they are looking for the intruders who could be driving a two-door 2002 Chevrolet with the Ohio license plate: FDC 8209.
