Ficano's Attorney, Fishman, Familiar With High-Profile Cases
DETROIT – Wayne County Executive Robert Ficano has hired a well-known attorney amid the FBI's probe of his and other county offices.
Attorney Steve Fishman has handled several high-profile cases in the Metro Detroit area.
Fishman is representing Detroit Pistons center Ben Wallace in a drunken driving case. He also represents the Detroit police officer who faces charges in connection with the shooting of 7-year-old Aiyana Jones.
Moreover, Fishman's former clients include basketball star Chris Weber and former Detroit City Councilwoman Monica Conyers.
