23-year-old killed in shooting

CLINTON TOWNSHIP, Mich. – Clinton Township police said a 23-year-old man died Monday morning after being shot outside an apartment building.

Police said the victim and another man got into an altercation inside a building at the Clemens Court apartments and shots were fired in a hallway. The gunfire pierced a wall, injuring a woman, police said.

The altercation continued outside, where the victim was shot multiple times, police said.

The gunman is still on the run.

The victim's name has not yet been released, but police said he is a Highland Park resident.
