A Thai man may be taking the promise "till death do us part" too far when he married his dead girlfriend last week -- at her funeral.
Chadil Deffy declared his love for Sarinya Kamsook and placed a ring on her finger during the joint wedding-funeral in Thailand's Surin province, the Thai-Asean News (TAN) Network reported.

The couple had been together 10 years and planned to marry before she died in a road accident.
According to the Pattaya Daily News, they met at Thailand's Eastern Asia University, and wreaths were placed around campus in memory of Kamsook following her death.
Photos of Deffy slipping a ring on his dead girlfriend's finger have since been posted on Facebook. A film crew present was also present and footage from the macabre ceremony was briefly uploaded to YouTube before being taken down.
