DETROIT – A former Wayne State University police officer has been found guilty of coercing a woman to perform a sex act after he stopped her car near the school's campus in Detroit.
The Wayne County prosecutor's office says a jury found Gregory Gladden guilty Friday of first-degree criminal sexual conduct, misconduct in office and willful neglect of duty.

Gladden was accused of stopping the 22-year-old motorist last May and telling her to drive to a nearby building where she was pressured for sex.
He was ordered held in the Wayne County Jail pending sentencing on March 6.
