Detroit – Welcome in Spring on Tuesday with free ice cream. Dairy Queen Free Cone Day is a special event hosted on the first day of spring by local owners. Participating owners give away free small cones to anybody that visits their store. No strings attached.
Thousands are expected to visit Tuesday. Some stores also give away balloons and other fun stuff.

Who will benefit?
On Dairy Queen Free Cone Day the owners also work to raise money to benefit the national charity Children's Miracle Network Hospitals by collecting donations and selling Dairy Queen coupons for return visits. You can drop off donations in CMN Hospital donation buckets.
