Bank inside Warren supermarket robbed

WARREN, Mich. – A bank robber struck during the middle of the afternoon inside a Kroger supermarket in Warren last Friday.

The robber approached a teller at a Comerica Bank branch inside the Kroger store at  Dequindre and 12 Mile Roads, handing over a note announcing a robbery and implying he had a gun.

The robber was given cash and made his way out of the busy store.

No one was injured in the robbery.

Surveillance images from the bank showed the robber was a white man between 45 and 55-years-old, wearing a Detroit Tigers cap.

Anyone who might be able to identify the robber is asked to call the Warren Police Department.
