Norovirus blamed for sick students, staff at high school in Dearborn Heights School sanitized, classes back in session No description found
DEARBORN HEIGHTS, Mich. – Health officials have confirmed that a norovirus is to blame for making nearly 200 students and a handful of staff at a Dearborn Heights school sick last week.
Annapolis High School was shut down Friday after the students and staff fell ill with symptoms similar to a stomach bug.
Cleaning crews spent the weekend scouring the school with sanitizers and classes were back in session Monday .
The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention offers advice to help prevent such a virus outbreak.
