DETROIT – More than a dozen hotels in the metro Detroit area are sparkling a little brighter.
AAA has announced the winners of the prestigious Four-Diamond Rating for hospitality industry excellence.
A total of 15 hotels and five restaurants across Michigan have earned the distinction for 2013.
In Detroit, the Westin Book Cadillac, the Motorcity Casino Hotel and MGM all were given the honor.
Inside the Motorcity, the restaurant Iridescence, was also give the Four-Diamond Rating.
AAA Michigan will officially present the awards at a special luncheon in April during the 2013 Pure Michigan Governor's Conference on Tourism at the Marriott Renaissance Center Hotel in Downtown Detroit.

Dearborn - The Dearborn Inn and The Henry Hotel Autograph Collection
Grand Rapids - Amway Grand Plaza Hotel and JW Marriott Hotel Grand Rapids
Mackinac Island - Grand Hotel
Mount Pleasant - Soaring Eagle Casino and Resort
Plymouth - The Inn at St. John's
Rochester - Royal Park Hotel
Romulus - The Westin Detroit Metropolitan Airport
Southfield - The Westin Southfield
