Dog with human-like face up for adoption
Poodle-Shih Tzu mix named Tonik looking for home despite eerie human-like appearance
No description found
There's something odd about the dog named Tonik.
The poodle-Shih Tzu mix has an "eerily humanoid" face, says the Indiana animal welfare agency.
Tonik was rescued from a high kill shelter in Kentucky and is up for adoption with the ASPCA.
The candid photo of the pooch was taken by Renny Mills, a professional pet photographer and posted on Petfinder.com.
The photo went viral Wednesday.
Petfinder wrote that Tonik isn't suitable for a home with children as the dog might be overwhelmed.
The fee to adopt this unusual pooch is $250 and hopefully Tonik's newly found fame will help find him a home.
