Chipotle celebrates Teacher Appreciation Day

DENVER – Chipotle is putting teachers at the head of the class this Teacher Appreciation Day with a special buy-one, get-one-free promotion.

On Tuesday, May 7, teachers and educators who show a valid school ID identifying them as staff will receive a free burrito, salad, burrito bowl or order of tacos when they purchase another menu item at Chipotle Mexican Grill.

The promotion is available from 4 p.m. to close in all Chipotle restaurants in the U.S.

This deal will only be honored for dine-in or take-out and excludes online orders, fax orders, mobile orders, "Burritos by the Box" and catering orders.

Chipotle operates 11 stores in Metro Detroit.
