The officer knew something was suspicious and pulled up to the car to make a stop. That's when the trio inside got out of the car and ran.

Christian Lamar Hillyer, 22, and Charles Edward Allen, 21, both from Detroit, were caught quickly as they ran down the median of Woodward.

The third man, 34-year-old Richard Anthony Davis of Warren, was found sitting and pretending to read a newspaper on the front porch of a house on East. Cambourne.

Despite his nonchalant disguise, police nabbed him.

The men are charged with unlawfully driving away a motor vehicle, a five year felony, and resisting a police officer.

The threesome was arraigned in court this afternoon.
