Jilleanne Rookard is competing in her second Olympic games in the 3000 meter long track speed skating event.
The Woodhaven, Mich., native competed in the 1500m and 3000m races in the 2010 Vancouver games.

Rookard began her career in quad skating, figure skating and then inline speed skating before moving to long track speed skating.
Rookard's family still owns a roller rink in metro Detroit, Skateland of Woodhaven.
