Raised in Milford, Michigan, Karly Shorr grew up riding Boyne Mountain. Originally a competitive gymnast, she put that aside and followed—in good little sister fashion—her two older brothers into snowboarding. Good thing she did, because Shorr is a jump-hitting natural.
