DETROIT – We've all tried skipping rocks over a pond or lake. It never skips more than a few times. That is unless you're Maxwell Steiner.

The Grosse Pointe Woods native was just awarded by the Guinness Book of World Records for the most skips of a stone on water, setting the new record at 65 skips.
