Man shot in leg stops car in Troy to call police for help

TROY, Mich. – Troy police say they are investigating after a man was shot in the leg.

The man pulled his car over to the side of the road to call police for help.

Police confirmed they were at the corner of Maple and Livernois roads Wednesday night, but police said the shooting did not happen at this location.

Police questioned the man and another person that was with him to figure out exactly where and why the shooting took place.

The man's name and age were not given by police.
