Crews work to put out Westland church fire
Middlebelt Road shuts down as firefighters fight blaze at Christ Temple Apostolic Church
WESTLAND, Mich. – Crews were called to a church in Westland that caught fire Wednesday night.
The fire happened after 9:30 p.m. Wednesday at Christ Temple Apostolic Church.
Flames could be seen through the roof of the church. A ladder truck arrived at the scene to fight the blaze.
Police shut down Middlebelt Road because of the fire.
No injuries were reported.
